It is rumoured that there is a scam, by which somebody who acquires your serial number can then claim the instrument is theirs. Ideally you should have a record of the serial number with your sales receipt and won your insurance details. When advertising an instrument for sale, you will often see the serial number referred to as 36xxxx. A serial number can of course be used to identify a stolen instrument. This may just be paranoia as I have never heard of this happening, nor can I understand how it could happen.
seems that DDE support should be easy. Something desperately searching to do with AHK (not via perl workaround, etc..).. and seems like.. on surface.. with little help can develop a simple AHK function for DDE (at least client side) communication. Should allow tapping into windows word, etc. *and* hundreds of older programs using the DDE server protocols which desperately need some AHK intervention in the post win'95 world.
here's what I have so far: Windows Messages include:
For example, here, on Word 2016 + Access 2016 + Windows 10, I cannot get Word to use a.mdb or.accdb as a mailmerge data source at all.I *immediately* get a 'Word could not re-establish a DDE connection to Microsoft Access to complete the current task'. Word could not re-establish a DDE connection to Microsoft Excel It's happening with all 6 computers in the office, all computers are using WinXP Pro, Office 2000. I've Googled, been around MS website several times, but all the fixes I've found refer to Word and Access, but not Word and Excel. The alternative is to open Access and create a query, which you might not want to do. To update the Word table data, click Update Field on the Database toolbar. If you have this problem, you have to use DDE to communicate with the instance of your application. DDE works with Windows messages and is a relict from Windows 3.1 How does it work? The component creates a dummy window which has a message pump, and waits for a WM_DDE_* messages. When WM_DDE_EXECUTE is received it fires the DDEExecute event.
Also, if you’re on a company network, do everyone a favor and check with your admin first. Allow non administrators to run this program windows 7. You can read all about that in our. You should also be aware that group policy is a pretty powerful tool, so it’s worth taking some time to.
WM_DDE_INITIATE = 0x3E0 WM_DDE_REQUEST = 0x3E6 WM_DDE_POKE = 0x3E7 WM_DDE_EXECUTE = 0x3E8 so. something like: Postmessage,0x3E0,Server,Subject,ahk_id 0xFFFF VarSetCapacity(test,500) SendMessage,0x3E6 ,something,&test,ahk_id winID or something.. should want to work.. no ? <!-- m -->http://msdn2.microso..y/ms648998.aspx<!-- m --> tells us: PostMessage( (HWND) hWnd, WM_DDE_REQUEST, (WPARAM) wParam, (LPARAM) lParam ); wParam Handle to the client window sending the message. lParam The low-order word specifies a standard or registered clipboard format.
